Arriving from:

Ljubljana:
- if you are coming from the city centre, follow the Celovška cesta road towards Medvode, where you turn left towards Škofja Loka. In Škofja Loka follow the road signs for Žiri.
- if you are coming from the Ljubljana – Koper motorway, follow the motorway and take the Vrhnika exit, then turn left at the first traffic lights crossing and then turn right towards Horjul. After going through Stara Vrhnika, turn in the direction of Podlipa–Smrečje. In Smrečje, follow the road sign for Žiri, then continue straight ahead.

Kranj: drive towards Škofja Loka, across Poljanska dolina valley and across Poljane, Gorenja vas, Hotavlje, Trebija to Žiri.

Logatec: follow the old main road to Ljubljana, follow the road sign for Žiri and drive past Rovte to Žiri.
